The Schwalbe ICE SPIKER PRO tire is lighter, grippier, faster. Turbo among studded tires. With 378 spikes that firmly bite into any icy slope. The body of the tungsten carbide spike is made of aluminum. This saves a lot of weight and the MTB remains agile. Please note: in deep snow, a studded tire will not help, but on an ice-covered track, it will cope with the task perfectly. In order to ensure a strong adhesion of the studs, the tires should be run-in for approximately 40 km with asphalt. Avoid sudden accelerations and braking. Studded tires can be used on normal asphalt roads, but they create noise when driving. Features: The RaceGuard puncture protection consists of two layers of nylon fiber, which are located in different weaving directions, combined with a 67 EPI frame. Puncture protection level 4.
