FRAME AND FORK The frame is made of strong and light 4130 chrome-molybdenum steel. This alloy is lighter and much stronger than ordinary steel, and it is also practically resistant to corrosion. Thanks to the butting of the pipes, it was possible to reduce the weight a little more, without losing strength. Despite the fact that the bike lacks active damping, riding it will not be very hard. Chromol perfectly absorbs and disperses small vibrations from road surface irregularities. The rigid fork is also made of chrome-molybdenum. Extended wheelbase, steering wheel the 71-degree headstock and lowered carriage provide a good balance between handling and stability. The low top tube helps to get off the bike more comfortably and safely, and the lowered top stays make the rear triangle of the frame more compliant, providing a more comfortable ride. The wheels are attached by eccentrics, which allow you to remove and install them without tools. The increased gaps allow you to fit 29" mountain bike wheels to keep the bike relevant both on and off the road. There are mounts for front and rear racks, full-size fenders and mounts for flasks, a pump and other accessories. FITTING The wheels are assembled on forged aluminum hubs and strong double aluminum rims. Wide tires Schwalbe Citizen 700x42 have puncture protection and reflective strips to help the bike stay visible on the road in the dark.The Tektro M275 hydraulic disc brakes give good control over the brake lever, making braking powerful and efficient in all conditions.The bike is equipped with a transmission amateur-level Shimano Alivio / Altus 3x9 mountain bike, it has a huge gear range that allows you to go very fast on flat areas and easily climb hills. Gear shifting is carried out using a 10-speed microSHIFT Advent X transmission. The rear derailleur has a stiff spring and a friction clutch, thanks to which the swinging of the chain is significantly reduced. The lack of a front derailleur significantly reduces the overall weight of the bike, and the replacement of the tee with a huge star for cranks with one also improves the roadability of the bike, due to increased ground clearance.
