The Recon 3.0 is a shoe designed to deliver the performance, Body Geometry-level comfort and light weight that avid XC and gravel riders need.
Looking for speed and off-road performance? The Recon 3.0 combines a carbon sole with a fiberglass forefoot. We call this solution Carbon STRIDE toe-flex. It allows the foot to function naturally off the bike, but maintain a stiffness index of 10.0 while riding. Thanks to the Carbon STRIDE toe-flex, you will be the first on the steep climbs, as well as at the bar with a glass of well-deserved beer after a whole day in the saddle.
The XPEL mesh used in the Recon 3.0 is not afraid of water and dries extremely quickly, as well as providing the most comfortable fit. To guarantee excellent traction in all conditions, we have coated the nylon sole with our SlipNot compound. Two Boa L6-Snap fasteners and a Velcro fastener make the Recon 3.0 as easy as possible to use and provide an optimal fit to keep you comfortable all day, regardless of the terrain, weather or the need to hike.
· Body Geometry soles and insoles are designed and tested, to increase your power and efficiency and reduce the likelihood of injury by aligning the ankles, knees and pelvis.
· Carbon STRIDE toe-flex technology provides comfort when walking and guarantees a stiffness index of 10.0 when riding.
· Welded upper eliminates unnecessary seams and guarantees an optimal fit.
· BOA® L6-Snap fasteners for easy adjustment and on-the-fly fit adjustments.
· SlipNot™ outsole for better traction on any terrain.
· Suitable for use with most contact MTB pedals.
