VANUA + BORNEO is a very low profile "frameless" mask with dual lenses for an extremely light and comfortable fit. The absence of an additional frame above the nose and shaped lenses increase comfort and visibility. A silicone skirt forms around the lens, creating a seamless connection. Thanks to its frameless design, the Manaus mask can be folded up to be used, for example, as an auxiliary mask that is stored in a diving jacket pocket. The double tempered glass lens provides an excellent field of vision without distortion. The shape of the frame ensures a small internal volume of the mask, which allows for easy removal of water. The Vanua pad and strap are made of soft, flexible, non-toxic and damage-resistant liquid silicone rubber (LSR). This material extends the life of the mask, increasing its durability and maximizing comfort. LSR has high resistance to ultraviolet rays and temperature changes, thanks to which it does not lose elasticity over time. Vanua's unique scuba gear mask liner is double-sealed, making it almost completely airtight and allows any water that seeps to blow out of the mask, even underwater. The Borneo tube has a purge valve at the base and a top valve that also prevents water from splashing into the tube. The curved, low-profile design eliminates water ingress while submerging while still achieving excellent surface breathing performance. The silicone mouthpiece is curved towards the diver's mouth for added comfort, and the adjustable clasp allows the user to quickly attach the snorkel to the mask strap. The Borneo mouthpiece and corrugation are made of soft, flexible, non-toxic and damage-resistant liquid silicone rubber (LSR). This material extends the life of the tube, increasing its durability and maximum comfort. LSR has high resistance to ultraviolet rays and temperature changes, thanks to which it does not lose elasticity over time. In addition, the use of black silicone prevents discoloration.
